Are you excited by developing future teachers? Do you love coaching, mentoring and sharpening classroom practice? Join Sheffield Teacher Training Alliance as an ITE Practice Coach and play a hands-on role in shaping high-quality teacher training across South Yorkshire. In this dynamic role, you'll work directly with trainee teachers across our partnership schools observing lessons, coaching practice and providing high-impact, developmental feedback. You'll support trainees to build confidence, turn research into action, and thrive in the classroom. You'll also play an important role in quality assuring training across partner schools, working closely with mentors, school leaders and colleagues to ensure consistently high standards. This role involves collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, trust colleagues and the wider Teaching Hub team, to strengthen practice and partnership working. Their programme is delivered in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT), providing a coherent, research-informed approach to teacher development from initial training through to early career. Best Practice Network has launched a new Level 4 Pastoral Support Practitioner Apprenticeship designed to help schools to strengthen attendance, behaviour and pupil wellbeing through early intervention and support. This apprenticeship, starting in September 2026, is designed for staff who work with pupils and families to address barriers to learning, attendance and wellbeing.
