Designated as one of only 87 national Teaching School Hubs, we are a centre of excellence for teacher training and development. We support schools and empower teaching professionals by delivering evidence-based professional development to teachers and leaders at every stage of their career. We are here from the moment they consider working in education through to leadership and beyond.
Every teaching journey starts with a spark and ours begins here in South Yorkshire. Hear from local teachers as they share what inspired them to join the profession and why they love making a difference every day.
We're here to support you on your journey.

It's been a great start to our NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture Conference today, and it's great to see a mix of roles in the group from across our schools, including pastoral leaders, lesson supervisors, and teachers. This NPQ has been designed for non-teaching staff and is shaped around the needs and priorities of the local area, so participants are learning approaches that are directly relevant and beneficial to their own school settings. Our facilitator, William Pratt, has done a great job of personalising the course to support all participants. We had a great day at Conference 1 with our NPQ Leading Teaching cohort. It's been great working with a really engaged group who are asking questions, sharing ideas, and developing their thinking. We were also pleased to welcome back Homaira Ibrahim who led a session on challenging conversations and encouraged the group to reflect on how these can be approached with confidence, care, and deeper thinking. We also covered: How to bring careers into the curriculum Emotion and educational leadership It was a really positive day of learning.
