Step 1

To begin the application process, please complete our expression of interest form below. By completing an expression of interest now, we can support your registration and application process and you can maximise your chance of securing a funded place on our NPQ programmes.

1. Complete an expression of interest form.
2. Check your funding eligibility. We can inform you of this.
3. Read our information and application pack which will be sent to you upon receipt of the expression of interest form.
4. Speak to your line manager to ensure you have their support for completing an NPQ.
5. Complete and submit the application form supplied in the application pack.
6. We will inform you of the outcome of your application.
7. Once the DfE registration portal opens on the DfE website, you will also be required to formally register with DfE.

We will help you every step of the way and ensure the application process is as simple as possible.

Step 2

Register on the DfE portal. You will need to take the following steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the DfE portal. You will need to select either Teach First or Best Practice Network as the lead provider. 
2. You will then receive an application form which you should complete.
3. On the form, choose South Yorkshire Teaching Hub as your delivery partner.
4. Your application will then be processed and if successful, you will be made an offer.
