Another busy day of NPQ training at South Yorkshire Teaching Hub this week! Yesterday, we welcomed our NPQ Leading Literacy and NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture participants for a full day of training and learning. In the morning, everyone came together for two sessions. Cheryl Gaughan delivered a session on High Expectations for SEND, followed by Emma Cooper, who shared practical tips and advice to help participants prepare for their final assessments. In the afternoon, participants split into their NPQ groups for more focused sessions. Our NPQLL participants took part in a thought-provoking session with Laura Spargo on why writing matters and how they can lead literacy in their schools, supporting colleagues to help pupils build their confidence, skills and enjoyment of writing. Our NPQLBC participants looked at behaviour support with Will Pratt, looking at ideas and approaches they can use in their own schools. It was great to see everyone sharing ideas, asking questions and learning from each other. A big thank you to our brilliant facilitators for delivering such engaging sessions.
