Expressions of interest are now open for the next cohort of NPQs

Kindly disregard the instructions below until applications are open again.

To secure a place on an NPQ you must complete applications with both the South Yorkshire Teaching Hub and the DfE.

To begin the application process, please complete the two steps below.

Step 1: Check your eligibility and apply with the DfE

1. Verify your funding eligibility by visiting the DfE website. 
2. Discuss your intention to undertake an NPQ with your line manager to secure their support.
3. Submit an application form through the DfE portal                                                                                                                               - Select one of our lead providers, Teach First or Best Practice Network on the form.                                                                    - Choose South Yorkshire Teaching Hub as your delivery partner. 

To proceed, you must complete Step 2.                                               

Step 2: Complete our application form 

1. After submitting your DfE application, fill out and submit our application form.
2. Once both steps are completed, we will confirm the final outcome of your application.
