Schools are required to register all their ECTs with the DfE. This can be done in a few easy steps:

• Register the ECT on the DfE portal
• Choose your delivery partner and lead provider. The South Yorkshire Teaching Hub is a delivery partner and Education Development Trust (EDT) is our Lead Provider. If you choose us as your delivery partner, please make sure to select us as the delivery partner and EDT as the lead provider.  
• Select an Appropriate Body (AB). You will need to provide details of your chosen AB.
• You should then see a confirmation that you've registered your ECT and chosen your AB. If you need to register any more ECTs, then please follow the process again.
• If you have chosen us as your Delivery Partner then you will also need to register the ECT with EDT.
• If you have chosen us as your AB then you will also need to register using ECT Manager.
