South Yorkshire Teaching Hub is moving to a new home

We are delighted to announce that the South Yorkshire Teaching Hub is moving to a new home this summer.
From 1 September 2026, you will find us at:
South Yorkshire Teaching Hub
1 Meadowhall Business Park
Carbrook Hall Road
Sheffield
S9 2EQ
Our new premises mark an exciting milestone in the evolution for the Hub, providing a larger, purpose-built space allowing us to host many of our professional development programmes and events in-house. From September, the majority of our National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), Early Career Teacher (ECT) training and Appropriate Body events will take place at our new venue.
Conveniently located in Sheffield close to Meadowhall Shopping Centre, with easy access from Rotherham, our new home offers excellent road, rail, tram and bus links, making it easier for, schools and education professionals across South Yorkshire to visit the Hub and attend our training and events.
The building includes a dedicated 50-seat training space, alongside welcoming areas for collaboration, networking and professional learning. Over time, we also plan to develop café-style meeting spaces and a CPD library, creating a place where colleagues from across the region can come together to share ideas, build connections and learn from one another.
Emma Cooper, Executive Director of South Yorkshire Teaching Hub, said:
"This is an exciting new chapter for the Hub. We have loved our time at Silverdale School and are incredibly grateful for the support and opportunities it has provided. As we continue to grow, we wanted a space that reflects our ambition to support schools and education professionals across our region.
"We want to create a space, a heart and a home for education. A place where people can meet, collaborate, share ideas and continue their professional development. This building represents the next stage in our journey and our continued commitment to supporting the education community across South Yorkshire.
"We're excited to expand the opportunities we can offer by hosting more events, creating new networks and bringing colleagues together from across the region. The café-style environment, CPD library and collaborative spaces will help create a welcoming place where people can build relationships, exchange ideas and share expertise.
"We want people to see this as their space and make full use of it. Our goal has always been to strengthen education across South Yorkshire, and we believe our new home will help us do exactly that."
While our location is changing, our phone numbers, email addresses and communication channels will all remain the same.
Current participants on our ECT, NPQ and Appropriate Body programmes will receive further information in the coming weeks confirming where their upcoming events and training sessions starting in September will take place, together with travel, parking and accessibility details.
We look forward to welcoming schools, partners and colleagues to our new home from 1 September 2026.
