Want access to FREE, high-quality resources to enhance your English lessons?

Schools across South Yorkshire are being invited to take part in the Vocabulous South Yorkshire Programme, a fully funded opportunity for state schools to enhance vocabulary teaching in Key Stages 2 and 3.
Vocabulous is a comprehensive, fully resourced online programme designed for pupils aged 9–14. It focuses on Latin and Greek root words to help students recognise patterns in English vocabulary, strengthening literacy, improving comprehension, and enabling them to independently decode unfamiliar words.
As part of an exciting partnership with The SHINE Trust, Vocabulous is offering schools in the region access to a year-long package of support at no cost. This includes weekly online lessons for Years 5, 6 and 7, alongside teacher training and specialist CPD in morphology, as well as engaging student workshops.
Teachers are encouraged to find out more by attending one of the upcoming online information. Schools can also choose to register directly for the programme via the South Yorkshire sign-up form.
