The National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are designed to support the professional development of teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers. It is an investment in our personal and professional development, ultimately improving the outcomes for our region’s young people. The qualifications have been designed with teachers and leaders in mind.

The courses last between 12 and 18 months, depending on your chosen NPQ. During this period of study, you will learn from the evidence-based curriculum, drawing on effective pedagogy, current research, and international best practice – all of which equips you with the knowledge and skills to improve in your current role, or take the next step in your career.

We have joined with our partners at Education Development Trust to bring a local, national and international perspective to the modules which, are delivered through:

  • Face to face
  • Live webinars
  • Online self-study sessions
  • One-to-One tutor sessions

All of this ensures the course complements your professional and personal life, enabling you to become part of a network of local practitioners and leaders who will support you throughout your career.
