Welfare Play Supervisor
The governors are looking to appoint a Welfare Play Supervisor to cover a maternity leave from January 2022 until Easter 2023. This role is to ensure the safety, welfare, and good conduct of the children during morning break and lunchtime. Duties will be in the dining room, playground and in classrooms if the weather is wet, you will be responsible for leading play activities along with the existing Welfare Play Supervisors. During the times when the children are not out playing you will be directed to support in classes, you will also be given time to meet with the existing Welfare Play Supervisor to discuss ideas for playtime activities. The post will be to start as soon as possible and will be permanent, previous applicants need not apply. They are looking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic people who will support the team ethos of the school, to join hard working and supportive staff. The appointed people will be able to sustain positive relationships with children and adults, and have a commitment to personal training and development. You need to be able to:
- Work well in a team
- Communicate effectively with children and colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Promote positive behaviour.
- Encourage children to play well together and have fun.
