Trust Facilities Lead

Cascade Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Facilities Lead to work across all the schools within the Trust. Starting date: 1st September 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful postholder to develop and improve the provision, resources and premises for all their children whilst continuing to ensure that services to all their stakeholders remain consistent, high quality and compliant.

The successful candidate will be expected to share their vision and values, provide a positive contribution to the strategic and operational planning at all the schools and ensure that a quality service is provided by all premises staff working in the teams across the Trust.

The main duties will involve:

  • Leading on the development and implementation of the MAT-wide estate development strategy and play a key role in any future growth
  • Develop a Trust wide assets management strategy
  • Work across all of the academy sites in their Trust to ensure they are safe, clean and compliant providing the best possible environment for teaching and learning
  • Develop systems and practices across the Trust to ensure consistency of approach
  • Monitor and manage the provision across the Trust

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Be an excellent and qualified practitioner with experience of facilities management in an educational setting
  • Have good communication and team leading skills
  • Have experience of project management
  • Ability to identify opportunities to secure funding and manage budgets
  • Knowledge of PFI systems and processes
  • Have a collaborative approach to working with a number of other professionals
  • Have the ability to build excellent relationships and work positively with all stakeholders
  • Work successfully as part of a team to plan, prepare and provide strategic direction for all site related
  • Be flexible in order to respond to the needs of the Trust
