Teaching Assistant Level 3
The Governors of Brunswick Community Primary School are looking to appoint a level 3 temporary Teaching Assistant. Applications are invited from motivated enthusiastic individuals who will support the team ethos of the school and join their hardworking and supportive staff. The person appointed will be able to build and sustain positive relationships with children and adults, and have a commitment to personal training and development. The role will involve supporting children individually or in small groups in and outside class, including support at break and lunchtimes. The role will be part of the wider pastoral team including their HLTA pastoral leader and their senior leader for behaviour and inclusion.
Applicants should possess a high standard of spoken and written English, hold GCSE qualifications in English & Maths or their equivalent and preferably hold NVQ for teaching assistants or an equivalent qualification or relevant previous experience. Previous experience of pastoral work would be an advantage. Full training will be provided alongside this. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience drawn from a range of educational environments. The ability to work as part of a team and flexibility in working hours is essential. The successful candidate will be deployed across school.

Salary: Grade 3 £20,092 (pro-rata)
