The children, staff and governors of Ecclesfield Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.  This is a great opportunity to become part of a two-form entry “Good” primary school – judged by Ofsted March 2019.  Ecclesfield Primary School is federated with Coit Primary and thus there are many opportunities to work alongside staff at both schools. Both schools are committed to nurturing staff to support the development of the skills, knowledge and understanding needed for this role.

Ecclesfield Primary are looking to employ a highly motivated individual who has experience in working with children with special educational needs to implement clear routines and boundaries. An ability to use their own initiative in implementing strategies to promote engagement and further development is desirable. This person must also work well as part of a team.  Experience in using de-escalation techniques to support children with emotional regulation is ideal.
