The children, staff and governors of Ecclesfield Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.  This is a great opportunity to become part of their two-form entry “Good” primary school – judged by Ofsted March 2019.  Ecclesfield Primary School is federated with Coit Primary and thus there are many opportunities to work alongside staff at both schools. Both schools are committed to nurturing staff to support the development of the skills, knowledge and understanding needed for this role.

They are looking to employ a highly motivated individual who has experience in working with children with special educational needs to implement clear routines and boundaries and show initiative in implementing strategies to promote learning and positive behaviour. This person must also work well as part of a team to support the learning and wider development of SEND pupils. Experience in using a range of de-escalation techniques is preferred (Team Teach trained is desirable but not compulsory) to support children with emotional regulation and engagement for learning.
