Forge Valley wish to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within their AEN curriculum area.  The successful candidate will provide support in class and during social time for pupils, with SEND.  A significant proportion of the work will involve support for those pupils who attend the Integrated Resource – a provision for pupils with communication and interaction difficulties, many of whom have Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The school is looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and can work as part of a team, alongside classroom staff.  Candidates will have good qualifications in English, Maths and Science and their preferred subject area should be reflected within their application.  Previous experience is not essential but applicants need to have a calm, friendly and positive approach and should be able to demonstrate a commitment to being part of a caring school environment.
