Teaching Assistant Level 1

Temporary Teaching Assistant – Level 1 – From 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022

Salary: Grade 2 – Scale Point: 3-4 £18,562 – £18,933 (pro-rata)

Hours:  30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed Teaching Assistant – Level 1 for our fully inclusive, diverse and friendly school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge and experience of the early years and national curriculum
  • Demonstrates a commitment to helping children achieve their very best
  • Relates well to children and has good behaviour management skills
  • Is able to work independently and confidently with small groups of children
  • Has excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • A knowledge of SEND
  • Can form positive relationships with both children and adults
