Senior Teaching Assistant (2-year-old provision)

Whiteways Primary School are looking to recruit a Senior Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children in the Early years and a good knowledge of child development. They look forward to welcoming a new member to join their 2- year old provision who will be able to support their pupils in a nurturing, stimulating and caring environment where children can feel safe, learn and develop their independence skills within the Prime areas of learning. The successful candidate will:

• Be able to work effectively within the team to ensure there are high quality and effective learning opportunities for all children.
• Have previous experience of working within an Early years setting
• Have a good understanding of child development
• Work closely within the nursery and whole school team
• Be a motivational communicator for children of all abilities ensuring learning is engaging and inclusive
• Experience of providing a stimulating, fun, engaging and educational environment for all children
• Be keen to work in partnership with teachers and as part of a cohesive team
• Be flexible in order to respond to the needs of the children
• Have the ability to build excellent relationships and work positively with children, colleagues, parents and the community
