Forge Valley School is an 11-18 Academy sponsored by Tapton School Academy Trust.  Our school ethos is founded on the principal that ambition and endeavour are key components in achieving success.  Currently serving around 1350 pupils, our new, purpose-built learning environment has excellent facilities to help us deliver our curriculum.

They are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician who will be responsible for other science technicians in the department and will use their experience and scientific expertise to support the school’s new Science curriculum, teaching staff and pupils.  Experience within a school environment would be an advantage, as would strong practical and organisational skills.  The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of Science, excellent IT skills and the ability to cope with competing demands.  A commitment to the health, wellbeing and safe practice at Forge Valley School is essential.
