SEMH Practitioner

Willow Tree Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated full time practitioner to support the Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs of pupils at Herringthorpe Junior School. We are looking for a highly skilled person who is committed to working with pupils, parents, staff and outside agencies to ensure that the school fully supports pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning.

You will be:-

• Passionate about children’s learning and well-being
• An outstanding practitioner who can effectively plan and deliver effective interventions for pupils to understand emotions and develop self-worth, confidence, motivation, trust, self-esteem and adaptability.
• Able to form effective relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to break down barriers to learning and effectively communicate.
• Willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.
