Science Technician

Aston Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Technician whose main role will be to provide an efficient and effective technical service to a large Science Faculty. The successful candidate will need to be well organised, self-motivated and capable of meeting strict deadlines. You will need the interpersonal skills to build up relationships with both teaching and non-teaching staff across the academy.

The successful candidates will:

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team with initiative
• Have good communication skills
• Be energetic, well-motivated and flexible
• Have a professional manner and plenty of common sense
• Be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
• Have experience of similar position within a biology/chemistry preparation area.
