School Chaplain

Required from January 2023   

Birkdale School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and theologically trained Chaplain from January 2023 who has a heart and passion for young people. This post arises due to the current Chaplain taking up a post at another independent school.

Birkdale is a Christian school and has had a Chaplain for many years. They are using this opportunity to refresh the role and to increase the scope. For the first time, this will be a ‘whole school’ role, providing pastoral support and chaplaincy to Pre-Prep, Prep and the Senior School. The Christian faith is central to the ethos and values of the School.
