School Business Manager

Mundella Primary School want to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring Business Manager to join their happy and successful school. They have an inclusive ethos and a strong commitment to ensure every child achieves their potential. They currently have 418 pupils.

They are looking for someone to be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and to positively and actively contribute to whole school improvement through effective leadership and management and co-ordination of the administrative, financial and resource provisions within the school together with the upkeep of the learning environment, working when appropriate with other agencies.

The successful candidate will have the appropriate qualifications (preferably a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management (formerly Certificate in School Business Management CSBM) and have a proven record of financial and project management, they will need to demonstrate they have the abilities to manage a busy office and organise and lead administrative and premises staff. They will be exceptionally organised, have excellent communication skills, be proactive and have good interpersonal skills.

The role is varied and includes Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety, ICT, Premises and Facilities management. The successful candidate will be able to fulfil the requirements as outlined in the Job Description, they will also be expected to lead governor finance and premises meetings and attend other governor meetings.
