Maltby Academy (an 11 to 18 school) is a successful school within the Maltby Learning Trust. The Learning Trust consists of primary and secondary Academies and provides high quality professional development, support and opportunities for future progression.

They are seeking to appoint a proactive and organised individual to provide administration and operational work with the Academy’s safeguarding processes and under the supervision of the Designated Safeguarding Lead/Vice Principal, take a lead role within the school to ensure the safeguarding of children and support for local families in accessing services.

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong administration skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and high professional standards
• Be organised and able to work to tight deadlines
• Have an understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedure
