Seven Hills School is a Secondary Special School for young people with a range of complex needs including severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder, physical disabilities and communication difficulties. We cater for pupils from 11 to 19 years of age.  The school is maintained by Sheffield Local Authority (LA).  We are an inspirational community, which nurtures talents, shares learning and celebrates life. We are looking to appoint two full time, permanent Pastoral Support Coordinators to safeguard the welfare of students, offer on-going safeguarding support and react promptly to any situations which arise.  To work with the Headteacher in ensuring effective procedures for safeguarding children are applied in school and carry out the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).

You will have the ability to build positive and constructive partnerships with families, and engage with external agencies where required, monitor the attendance of students and act quickly to identify and improve poor attendance.

You will also support the development and delivery of the Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) and RSHE curriculums, including running intervention groups.
