Pastoral Support Assistant (Post 16)

The Governors of All Saints Catholic High School wish to appoint a suitably qualified person to join the Post 16 Team as a Pastoral Support Assistant to work with students and staff in a number of key areas. You will play a key role in maintaining the Sixth Form’s strong academic, supportive ethos, working closely with other members of staff on all aspects of pastoral support, including attendance, home-school liaison, and student wellbeing. The successful candidate will have a range of personal and IT skills and be able to work to a high level of accuracy. The role involves working closely with students, parents and staff, so well-developed communication skills will also be vital. You will share their high ambitions for all students and have the ability to foster strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders. Training will be given in specific school software. This is a new role to the Sixth Form Team and the successful candidate will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and willing to collaborate to improve the experience and outcomes for all of their students.
