Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Level 2

Required to start September 2021 until August 2022

The Governors of Brunswick Community Primary School are looking to appoint a level 2 temporary, part – time, Teaching Assistant.

Applications are invited from motivated enthusiastic individuals who will support the team ethos of our school and join our hardworking and supportive staff. The person appointed will be able to build and sustain positive relationships with children and adults, and have a commitment to personal training and development.

Applicants should possess a high standard of spoken and written English, hold GCSE qualifications in English & Maths or their equivalent and preferably hold NVQ for teaching assistants or an equivalent qualification or relevant previous experience.

Previous experience of intervention programmes and/or Special Educational Needs would be an advantage, as would experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience drawn from a range of educational environments.

The ability to work as part of a team and flexibility in working hours is essential. The successful candidate will initially be deployed within Foundation Stage 2.
