Mid-day Supervisory Assistants

Seven Hills School is a School for young people 11 – 19 years old with special needs.  They require to start ASAP a  Lunch Time Supervisors to assist pupils during the lunchtime break.  The successful applicant will be required to contribute to the development of a positive approach to lunchtime, supervise pupils and promote good behaviour either in the dining room, classroom or playground, encourage children to practice table manners and maintain a calm atmosphere during the lunchtime period.

You will also assist with cleaning tables and ensure dining areas are left clean and tidy, build positive relationships with students and staff and follow school policies ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils at all times.   Applicants should be willing to join in games, oversee quiet activities and supervise children. Seven Hills School are looking for responsible, reliable and friendly people who enjoy working with young people and who are able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate should have the skills and enthusiasm necessary to work with young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs.  You will also be committed to improving your own learning and career through Continuous Professional Development.  The ability to work effectively with teachers and other support staff is essential.
