Lunchtime Supervisor

Hunter’s Bar Infant School are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. Lunchtime Supervisors are required to supervise the children immediately before, during and after the midday meal either in the playground or the dining room. They are expected to:

• take part in activities with children over the lunchtime period
• organise play equipment
• oversee quiet activities
• supervise children having free play in the school playground and delivering play activities
• encourage children to eat their lunch
• be aware of and deliver Health and Safety both in the dining room and in the playground

The successful applicant will be someone who:

• likes working with children
• is reliable and punctual
• has a positive, caring attitude
• is efficient and flexible
• is a team player who is fully committed and who enjoys working co-operatively with colleagues
• offers a positive approach to lunchtime play
