Lunch Time Supervisor

Wharncliffe Side Primary School are a small Primary School in a rural setting on the edge of Sheffield.  They can offer the right candidate the chance to work as part of an enthusiastic team with wonderful children and families and a super learning environment. You will be required to supervise and assist children during the lunch break.  The successful applicant will be part of a team who will supervise the children both in the dining room area and the playground. They are looking for a responsible, approachable person who is reliable and is able to work as part of a team. Key roles are to supervise pupils before, during and after lunch time and when needed to set up and clean eating areas.  Applicant must be able to put pupil’s wellbeing and safety first, and can administer first aid in the case of minor accident acting on the advice of the registered first aider. You will be responsible for organising play activities in the playground or indoors if a wet playtime, and liaise with the Head Teacher and staff in dealing with problems arising from pupil behaviour and any other matters of concern.
