Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant x2

Chaucer School is a school that makes a difference, where the drive for a first class education goes hand in hand with first class support. They work hard together as a whole staff team to make the difference to the life chances and dreams of all the children in their care.

If you want to work in an environment that is supportive, ambitious, rewarding, and challenging, all within each day, then you might be the right person to join them in developing Chaucer School. They’re fiercely proud of their school, the opportunities they have on offer, and the service they provide to their community. Every staff member at Chaucer School has the opportunity to be instrumental in that improvement journey for individual children, improving the curriculum to drive up progress and standards within the department, while building relationships to motivate and inspire their young people. They are seeking a committed and experienced individual to join their team.

The successful candidate/s will work within their learning, inclusion and support team to plan and deliver literacy/speech and language interventions to identified cohorts of students across both key stages. Previous experience in a school environment supporting young people is essential together with drive, commitment and a desire to help young people reach their potential.  In addition to this, experience of working with SEMH, ASD and students with SLCN needs would be preferable.
