Level 3 Learning Support Assistant
Harthill Primary School is a small primary school at the heart of Harthill village. We are a warm and vibrant team lucky to be working with ambitious, kind and resilient young people every day and we are looking for a new team member to work with us for September 2021.
The role is open to anyone with a Level 3 LSA/TA qualification (or Level 2 and willingness to work towards). Prior experience in school is essential.
We are looking for someone who can work supporting teaching and learning in a classroom by assisting the teacher with the delivery of the curriculum, supporting individuals and small groups and delivering intervention where required. The ideal candidate would be able to establish productive relationships with pupils, set high expectations, promote independence whilst recognising individual need and provide feedback in relation to progress and achievement. They would work with the classteacher to establish appropriate and engaging learning environments, promote our school values of belonging, ambition, resilience and kindness and liaise effectively with parents and carers.
The position is likely to be in KS2 but this is negotiable and all keystage experience is warmly welcomed.
Prior knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEN is not essential but is desirable.
