Level 1 Teaching Assistant

Sheffield South East Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level1 Teaching Assistant on a temporary 1-year contract from September 2021 at Norfolk Community Primary School. The post will be to support SEND pupils 39 weeks 16 hours per week.

The school serves a diverse community in the south east of the city. In January 2018, the school became an academy as part of the Sheffield South East Trust (SSET), which unites five local schools (Manor Lodge Primary, Wybourn Primary. Acres Hill Primary and Phillimore Primary). The schools within the Trust work closely together for the benefit of the children and communities they serve. There are many opportunities for support, training and networking between the schools.

They are looking for a dynamic and resilient Teaching Assistant who has high expectations for all pupils and a desire to support SEND pupils to achieve. The ability to communicate clearly and build effective relationships with all involved in a child’s education is essential.
