L3 Teaching Assistant: Nursery

Walkley Primary School are looking for an experienced Nursery teaching assistant who has the ability to be part of a hard -working and highly motivated team. They are looking to recruit a candidate who:

  • Has a proven track record of working within the EYFS and understands how young children learn
  • Has a passion for helping to deliver an outstanding Early Years curriculum
  • Creative ability to develop learning areas both inside and outside the classroom
  • Is able to develop positive relationships with pupils and their parents
  • Ensures the smooth running of Nursey provision both inside and outside the classroom and maintains pupil safety and well being
  • Has good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Feels strongly that their support can make a real contribution to raising self confidence, self esteem and motivation in order for children to reach their potential
  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with Tapestry and EYFS observation assessment principles
  • Has a willingness to be fully involved in the life of the school showing enthusiasm and initiative
