Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Nether Green Junior School are seeking to appoint a HLTA and to support the learning in the Integrated Resource Unit at their school.  They are looking for people who are caring, committed, hardworking and enthusiastic, who are able to use their own initiative in carrying out a range of duties which support the class teachers in raising the children’s attainment. This role involves caring for children’s personal and intimate needs.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead groups of children and lead and manage interventions including planning, supporting the IR lead. The candidate will also lead sessions when the IR lead is on management time/PPA.

They will be looking for people who show a willingness to be involved in training and all aspects of school life.
