EARLY YEARS TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 3 (Relevant qualification needed to apply)

The Governors of this friendly and successful nursery school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join their happy, hardworking team.  Broomhall Nursery School is judged by Ofsted as an outstanding school on its last three inspections and has recently been designated as a Centre of Excellence in the city for their work with children with SEND.

Broomhall Nursery School are seeking to appoint a lively, enthusiastic, hardworking Level 3 Teaching Assistant who will be required to contribute to the educational and social development of the young children in the nursery school, including having a small number of key children.

The post is initially offered on a fixed term contract until 31.08.2023, but subject to numbers and funding the post may be extended.

The successful candidate should:

• Be enthusiastic, keen to work in partnership with teachers and able to work under instruction as well as having the ability to use their initiative.
• Have the ability to build excellent relationships with adults and children and work as part of our whole school team.
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills and experience of working with nursery age children.
• A particular interest in teaching in the outdoors would be desirable since we use our wonderful garden in all weathers.
