Cleaning Supervisors

Required as soon as possible we are seeking to appoint a hard-working and highly organised individual to undertake the important role of Cleaning Supervisor. There are two roles of 16 hours per week. The following list is not exhaustive, but some of the tasks may include:

  • The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty
  • Ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building
  • Reviewing work schedules and cleaning areas
  • Ordering of cleaning materials and supplies
  • Monitoring and auditing of all cleaning activities
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Undertaking emergency cleaning and other occasional cleaning as specified, during normal hours
  • Being responsible for the periodic stripping and resealing of hard surface floors
  • Removing graffiti from internal and/or external walls, windows, etc., using appropriate cleaning equipment and materials
  • Monitoring and providing audit reports on cleaning standards and follow up
  • Providing induction training and continual guidance to familiarise any Cleaners (where applicable) with agreed procedures and working practices
  • Impacting special skills and knowledge to other colleagues as appropriate
  • Maintaining close working relationship with other cleaning supervisor, site managers, staff and liaise with establishment users, as necessary
  • Being familiar with and implement Health and Safety requirements including COSHH
