Cleaning Supervisor

St Pius X Catholic High School are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of cleaning supervisor. Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility will include:

  • Carrying out the day-to-day supervision of cleaning activities
  • Carrying out all cleaning tasks in line with cleaning specifications
  • Allocating tasks to cleaners on a daily basis within guidelines
  • Making sure premises are cleaned to required standards
  • Carrying out induction and basic training of new staff
  • Completing any relevant paperwork such as timesheets, stores orders, recess sheets
  • Monitoring supply and use of cleaning materials
  • Maintaining record of relief staff and make contact where necessary
  • Making sure safe working practices are carried out
  • Promoting and maintaining good customer relations to ensure the quality of the cleaning service provided by communicating and co-operating with the customer/caretaker.
