Cleaner

Athelstan Primary School require a cleaner, to start as soon as possible, to work within their premises team to provide an excellent learning environment for their children.

Duties will include daily cleaning, mopping, sanitising, vacuum cleaning and dusting of designated areas, which will include classrooms, offices, kitchens, toilets and general areas. Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations is desirable, but training will be given if required.

The hours of work are 3.15pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

The post holder will:

  • Be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in their specific area allocated within school;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders;
  • Be reliable and punctual;
  • Be able to use their initiative
