Forge Valley School is an 11-18 Academy. Our school ethos is founded on the principal that ambition and endeavour are key components in achieving success. Currently serving around 1350 pupils. Chaucer School is an 11-16 Academy, serving approximately 900 students.

They are seeking to appoint a Careers Leader to work across Forge Valley and Chaucer School from 1st September 2021. The successful candidate will be required to devise and implement a Careers Strategy in-line with the school development plans and delivery of an effective Careers programme and achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks, be suitably qualified to provide high-quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students, prospective students and community clients. The role will also involve building links with employers, external providers and school staff to support with information advice and guidance activities. In addition to careers provision, the successful candidate will coordinate high quality enrichment and cultural capital opportunities. There will be the opportunity to enable genuine social mobility on a large scale.
