Breakfast Club and After-School Worker
Nook Lane is a warm, welcoming junior school with 249 children, including an Integrated Resource for 13 children with autism.
The school is situated in the north-west of the city and is part of Peak Edge Trust. They are looking for a reliable, caring and enthusiastic breakfast club and after-school club worker to join their team; someone who works well as part of a team and who has excellent inter-personal skills in order to communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents and carers.
You will be required to supervise and support children in your care, whilst being creative and engaging. Duties will include supervised play, providing games, overseeing activities and serving snacks.
The successful candidate is likely to possess strong initiative and the ability to be creative in developing ideas to engage children at both breakfast club and after school club
Working Hours are 7.30-9.00 a.m. Monday –Friday (7.5 hours) – 3.15-5.45 p.m. Monday-Friday (12 .5 hours – although currently the after-school club is open Monday –Thursday – i.e., 10 hours. This may revert to 12.5 hours depending on demand.
