Attendance and Pastoral Support Assistant

Badsley Primary is a large and very popular school in central Rotherham. They are currently looking to appoint a highly motivated, positive and experienced individual to join a fantastic and hard-working team within a large mainstream primary school.

The Attendance and Pastoral Support Assistant will work to reduce levels of absence and increase punctuality and work with staff, pupils and their families to promote high levels of attendance completing any necessary referrals, documentation and liaising with the Attendance Lead, Pastoral Lead and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will create and maintain positive and productive relationships between home and school and work proactively with parents/carers to increase attendance levels.

The successful candidate will be part of the wider pastoral team.  This is a dynamic and friendly team covering pastoral, safeguarding and support for identified pupils across the school.  Badsley Primary prides itself on the excellent pastoral care and support for pupils and families.

Experience of working in a school setting and the ability to work as part of a hardworking, highly motivated team is essential.
