Dalton Foljambe School Kitchen is seeking as assistant cook to join their team.

Under the direction of the Cook-in-charge, you will prepare, cook and serve approximately 70 meals per day.

You will be responsible for the kitchen and staff during the absence of the Cook-in-charge.

The ability to prepare and cook food in accordance with approved menus, with relevant experience of large-scale catering will be essential. You must also demonstrate good hygiene practices and have a high level of personal hygiene. You will need to communicate and work well as a member of a team.

A Food Hygiene Certificate, NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent will be required, or you must be willing to undertake available training.

A uniform and midday meal will be provided.
